General Construction Services specializes in emergency services. We are proud to offer the finest 24 hour a day emergency reconstruction and restoration services for commercial, industrial and government agencies throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area. With training and experience that set the industry standards for professionalism, GCS personnel can immediately begin the process of returning a damaged property to its loss condition. As part of our past experience, we have performed many emergency tasks for different agencies in the District of Columbia. We performed emergency generator service for the Detox Center at DC General Hospital for the fiscal year 2003 and 2004. We have also performed emergency overhead and rolling doors services for District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) and also, we have performed emergency water damage restoration for District of Columbia Department of Public Works at West Virginia Avenue during a sprinkler head damage that caused all the offices to be flooded. GCS restored the offices back within 24 hrs. We have performed and still performing numerous emergency services at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for District of Columbia Department of Mental Health from emergency boiler repairs, asbestos abatement, roof repairs, locks repairs, window glazing, site lighting repairs, generator and switch gear preventive maintenance and assessment etc. Our record for schedule, cost, quality, safety, and client services are reasons why clients; new and old select General Construction Services as their contractor of choice.
